The band’s first gig of 2019 will be their best one yet with the full lineup and more originals and covers than they’ve ever played before! Starting the show is Edmonton’s St.Arnaud whose modern folk music will be the perfect blend to the band’s folk and country rock.
Braden Foulkes Band is Braden, Riley, Brendan, Bron and Alex. Jamming either separately or together since high school, this group of musicians have formed to have some fun and create cool tunes either in the apartment or on the stage. Every show so far the fun on stage is channelled right to the audience to make for a great night of music.
St.Arnaud – Edmonton, AB
At 24 years old, Ian St.Arnaud found himself to be an old hand on the festival performer circuit, a University graduate, an accidental overdose survivor, and at a loss for what to do with himself next. The previous fall his bandmate, friend, and at times antagonist, was hit by a train, thus dissolving his Americana/folk pop trio – North of Here. Teaming with producer Graham Lessard, St.Arnaud’s debut album blends to together his raw, goose-bump raising, story telling solo ability of songwriters like Nathaniel Rateliff, Adrianne Lenker, Phoebe Bridgers, Shakey Graves, and Andy Shauf, with the indie-folk sounds of The Barr Brothers, Alvvays, and Whitney.
