Oh hey music friends!

Come on down to Pressed for the triumphant return of Jumpin’ Joel Flash & The Magic Machine! The band is growing… the machine is tightening! What kind of nonsense will they trot out? Don’t hesitate! Get yerself down there and see for yourself!

Joining the Magic Machine are two more awesome Ottawa bands: The Artichoke Hearts & A Leverage for Mountains! All this action for only 6 Bucks at the door! Holy snap, gang!

About the acts:
Jumpin Joel Flash & The Magic Machine
The Magic Machine is exactly what you’re looking for.
The gang is a made up of a silly potpourri of creative minds – resulting in a sweet mix of folk and southern jam featuring opera-rock vocals, bouncy rhythms, musical theatre harmonies, and the occasional rain stick interlude.

We create surprisingly hummable, temptingly strummable original tunes composed and performed in a manner that it is certain to make you smile. Our on-stage antics and comedy bits will make you laugh. Our lyrics will make your heart skip a beat. Our finale will make you a lifetime fan.

The Artichoke Hearts
Singer-songwriter Caitlin Dolan joins forces with pianist Kim Jackson and violinist Jessie Lyon in this Ottawa-based folk trio. Conquer then Divide is the product of ten years of songwriting – a collection of honest reflections, embracing vulnerability and independence.

A Leverage For Mountains
Based out of Val-des-Monts, Quebec, A Leverage For Mountains is Nick Loyer and Jay Trepanier. It’s harmonies, from the most compelling sounds to the most captivating notes, a universe full of emotions and sincerity that lives in the moment and opens the doors and windows of your memory.

A Leverage For Mountains is more than a group: it’s family, friends, it’s the love of music.
