justin orok is a songwriter and guitarist from ottawa, currently living in toronto. he is a member of the chamber folk group decoration day, and a contributor to various indie rock and improvising groups around toronto. justin’s songs combine a fluttering guitar style reminiscent of nick drake with direct lyrics influenced by songwriters such as randy newman; these are songs with unlikely heroes, grappling with the unease of modern life.
